Tahota Law Firm actively cooperates with the national epidemic prevention work and strives to overcome the impact of the pandemic. After more than 18 months of deliberation and preparation, Tahota Law Firm has officially completed the establishment of its Bangkok office. It is a key step for Tahota to build its Southeast Asian Legal Service Center.

On November 17, 2020, lawyer Chen Shiyong, partner of China Pan-Mekong Law Firm (Myanmar), visited TAHOTA Law Firm and gave a special lecture on Myanmar Investment Laws and Risks. In recent days, in accordance with the stipulations on Regulation of Mediation Center of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Mediation Center of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission has accomplished the employment work of the mediators. Senior Partner and Management Partner of Tahota Hong Kong Office Yang Jianhong Lawyer and the lawyer of Chongqing Office Fu Daqing Lawyer were assigned as the first batch of mediators of this Mediation Center, with an employment term lasting from June 1, 2019 to May 31, 2023.

Recently, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission(shortened as CIETAC in English and “Zhong Mao Wei” in Chinese) has begun touse a new panel of arbitrators in which Tahota chief partner Cheng Shoutai,senior partner Yang Jianhong, Chen Guofu and Fu Daqing were listed again tocontinue working as CIETAC arbitrators. At present, Tahota is one of the lawfirms from which CIETAC hires the most arbitrators.

Tahota Law Firm Helped Win the Lawsuit of a Large Sum of Patent Award and Reward
Senior partner of Tahota Law Firm Yingmei Han and full-time lawyer Yun Zhang (from Beijing Office) were the attorney agents of Lier Chemical Limited Liability Company (hereafter referred to as Lier Chemical, a listed company in Shenzhen Stock Exchange with the share code of 002258) in the lawsuit with a former employee about patent award and reward. After the trial in Sichuan Mianyang City Intermediate People's Court, the former employee’s request that Lier Chemical should pay him 33 million as patent award and reward was rejected.
